The
Ferris State University Student Chapter recently toured
the Grand Rapids Post Office Building renovation by Holwerda-Huizinga,

The
tour was organized by the Chapter's Contractor Advisor Russ
Borst, who is Vice President of Service with Holwerda Huizinga,
Inc.

The Project involved a complete boiler change out and installation
of a completely new Honeywell EXL5000 PDC Control System.
The
tour was conducted by Tom Maguire, a staff member of the

Tours
of this type gives the students an excellant opportunity
to see the types of projects they are studying about in
action. Outings for the upcoming winter session include:
a tour of a service contractor's office, and an additional
jobsite tour in the Spring.
